After the infamous visit from the Volturi, you would think this small town would return back to its peaceful small town life…

Edward was furiously prowling the woods. He could barely hear his name being yelled in the distant, it seemed like an echo of his conscience.
"Huh?" He mumbled, as if the Demon on the outside was trying to keep him from getting to his wife. His thought process was interuptted by another scent, and it was that of a human.
Hunting his prey. Edward hadnt drank from a human forever, well...other then changing his wife into a Vampire. It was too close. The deer and the human, plus Edward's famished eyes was not looking good.
He bore his fangs and out of nowhere, sprung upon the two, not sure which one he would get to first. He closed his eyes in the lunge.

Bella's eyes shot up, hearing Edward finally, but the sent of a human as well. "Edward don't" she spoke loud enough for only he could hear, springing into action, she jumped tackling her husband to the ground, her favorite position it seemed for that evening. Placing her cold small hands onto his cheeks, she spoke to him, letting him smell her scent.
"Edward, you are not like that." she begged her husband, though you couldn't tell by her voice. She jumped as she heard the sound of a shot gun, the smell of blood from the dead deer. "Come on, we have to get out of here." she was panicking, not wanting anything to happen to Edward, she didn't care much about herself at the moment, just the safety of her husband. "We can go hunt somewhere else..." trying to distract him.

The smell of spilled blood overwhelmed his nose, and he tried to scramble to his prey, but his wife was to strong, holding him back.
But...a third scent intoxicated him. Bella had grabbed his cheeks, and practically forced her scent upon him. His vicious famished mouth, still bore its fangs, but he wasnt angry, he wasnt a monster. He sniffed in his wife's smell, and purred gently.
His mind was hazed, and he doubted he could leave without any help.

bella tried her hardest to keep Edward focused on her. "Edward, look at me" pressing her lips against his forcefully. "Stay with me, you are a lot stronger..." She stopped taking a wiff of the air, besides Edward, the smell of the blood was enchanting.
Her eyes widen, black onyx color looking over her shoulder, she was still a new vampire afterall. "One bite wouldn't hurt..." Bella thought aloud, letting go of Edward and lunging forward.

Edward snapped from his dreamy haze that could have almost gotten them killed to his topaz orbs widening when his wife kissed him forcefully. He cupped her cheeks, but then she mentioned something, something he couldnt quite process and bolted off.
Edward flapped around on the ground and noticed that the human was gone. He buried his head into the earth gently, and realized now he didnt have to contain himself. He took off after his wife, seeing the dead deer.
"Would you perfer something more fresh Bella, love? Or would this suffice?" He asked her. Dead deer my not taste to great to her, but Edward was used to all kinds of creatures.

Bella stopped and turn to see Edward, as calm as ever. Her brow raised, as a smirk spread on the tip of her lips. "What do you suggest?" a hint of mischievousness in her tone. She was now starving and needed to drink, but the game around here was no fun, as Edward had told her so many times, the hunt was the exciting adrenline rush that he was not able to descripe.
"Perhaps Alice would like to join us?" the smirk more present as the idea of a family "camping trip" was in order. It had been weeks since she had seen any of the other Cullen's and she was dying to spend time with them, her new family after all.

"I cant hold it any longer." He snapped, more so to himself. He was famished and the dead animal was looking to more, and more like a fest to him.
His lip curled up in disgust. See...by now if he had human blood he would have killed or come close to it, but it would have been so much easier, wouldnt it?
He approached the dead deer, and hated the fact that how he acted around animals even was monsterous. As he knelt down, his lip further curled up, before he gorged himself on the leftover blood of the animal.

Edward growled softly, ticked he wasnt able to finish his meal. He wiped his mouth, and didnt look at Bella as he bolted off to the Volvo and slid in before her.
His hands gripped the steering wheel as he left the passenger's door open, waiting for his wife. Whom he wasnt looking forward to facing. What was wrong with him? Edward couldnt figure it out. It scared him. His tension on the wheel grew as his muscles showed it.

Bella slide into the passanger side and slowly closed the door, not seeing Edward, he disgusted her at the moment. "Wipe your mouth" she hissed, still able to smell the blood from the deer, surely the blood had already gone cold. What was wrong with him? He never acted like this before, losing control so easily.
"Take me home" she ordered, not wanting to be near or around Edward at the moment. She would hunt on her own by the house, glad they lived in a very secluded area, forest all around. If the family was gone like he said they were, she was thankful, Esma would be just as disappointed as she was at the moment.

Edward wiped his mouth again and sighed, trying to relax. "Bella..." His voice had softened and his expressions had softened, his eyes now a tad bit more topaz then black.
"I'm so sorry." He mumbled, as he turned the ignition and the car purred gently. He hit the gas pedal and soared off elegantly down the road. He felt like crap right now. Guilty, unworthy.
He rubbed his face with his hand as he stared out on the pavement which was a blurr.

Bella stared out the window, as usual, Edward was driving a lot faster than she preferred, but things were different now. "Just take me home Edward" she continued to hiss, looking away from him because she knew that if she looked into his eyes he would be forgiven.
Bella was glad he couldn't read her thoughts, thinking that she might jump out of the car and just run the rest of the way, away from him and have some time to think, rationalize why he did this, what had happened. Knowing that she was just as quick as he was now, she turned the handle of the door and jumped out so swiftly, running away from the hundred mile per hour car, getting as far away as possible, realizing that she was near La Push. If she crossed the line, Alice wouldn't be able to see her, she wanted to speak to Seth or Jacob so badly, but the treaty forbidden it.

"Bella!" Edward yelled as he swerved the car off to the side when she jumped out. He hadnt been paying any attention, trying to figure out why his wife did a crazy thing like that and the car flipped, rolling thrice in the ditch.
Edward felt his neck retract and it felt like his head was going to come off of his body. He groaned as he undid the seat belt, forgetting his was upside and landed on the top of the hood with a loud metal thud.
He slid out of the car and before he could attract more attention to himself he was running. He ran into a clearing and slammed his body against the bark of a tree and slid to the earth. "Whats happening to me?" He asked himself. Why all these massive changes? What was going on inside of him? Whatever it was, it was scaring him.
He had a big gash across his arm, and that was about all the injuries he obtained, as he rose from his spot and scanned through the clearing.
